hellooo! wow, its been a WHILE since my last blog. And I just felt led to wrtie this blog.

I can't believe 2009 is coming. It's just unbelievable. When I ask myself, what did I do this year that was meaningful? Was I selfish this whole year and didn't realize it? Then the Lord reminded me, it's not about what I did, but it's about what He's done in my life. It's all about Him. And sometimes I wonder when will we ever fully get that? Because yes, we do KNOW it..but we don't LIVE it. Because until we understand that it really is all about GOD, then we are really not living. You may think...woah...that's a strong statement. But ykno..its true.

Another thing that just went through my mind. Many times, we try to occupy our time with something just to avoid spending time with God. Hard to believe, but yes, we do.

This reminds me..something God put in my heart a long time ago.

Forgive me if I remember the things that others did instead of what You've done.

Forgive me if i remember to avoid hurting others' feelings but i always hurt Yours.

Forgive me if I remember to protect my own image yet forget to protect Yours.

I remember yet I also forget.

What a wretched person I am.

I remember the world yet I always forget You.

Let's never forget God's goodness in our lives. He is our Rock, our Shelter, our Redeemer, our Deliverer. He should be FIRST PLACE in our lives. How would you live for the One who laid down His life for you even when you least deserved it? Would you live in worship or would you live in ignorance?

This coming year is another year God has given us to serve Him with our whole heart, a united heart, not a divided heart. So be thankful. Be thankful. God is good and He loves you all so much! Boast of His love for you!!

I love you all!

Though it's not the new year yet...

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I LOVE YOU ALL! May the Lord continue to prosper and bless you abundantly!

Looking Toward the Son
This devotional was written by Kelly McFadden

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”—John 14:6

Isn’t it amazing how sunflowers follow the sun?  This phenomenon is a result of the sunflower being a phototropic plant.  Meaning the sunflower follows the movement of the sun from east in the morning to west in the afternoon.  The flower constantly looks towards and depends on the bright, radiant sun for life.

The Christian life should be like the sunflower.  We should have our eyes focused on Jesus.  It is when we aren’t dependent on our maker or when we get caught in the shadows of sin that we, like the sunflower, fade.  The sun does not move in the sky.  It is the world that rotates and moves.  In your life, no matter how the world changes keep your eyes focused on what is constant - Christ.

We must always keep our eyes on the Son, our source of life.

This is from part of a devotional by Robin Dugall.

One of the most compelling sermons I ever heard was given years ago by the former president of Moody Bible Institute, Joe Stowell. The sermon I heard hit me at the core of my being. He said, “One day, life won’t be about 'me’…it won’t be about you. It won’t be about the covers of magazines, or CEO status, or diplomas or anything else. Life will come down to Jesus.” I was challenged by the following portion from Joe’s message and hope you will be also:

“I’m only fifty-seven, and I already find myself weary of the hollow thoughts of what few accomplishments I may have mustered in my life. My failures continue to embarrass me. The inadequacies I have carried with me since my youth still frustrate me. My insecurities still trouble my soul. And the praise of others has an increasingly hollow ring. I’m tired of worrying about what people think about me. I’m weary of the carnal feeling that sometimes haunts me when someone talks about his favorite preacher and it’s not me. Bottom line, I just get flat-out tired of me. BUT I NEVER GET TIRED OF JESUS. After all these years, I still find Him more compelling, more engaging, more awesome, more surprising, more fulfilling, and more attractive than ever before. I never get tired of singing His praises or of watching Him perform. I find Him to be gripping. Absorbing. Beyond comprehension. And that’s why – along with Paul, my grandmother, Billy Graham and countless others through the years – I find myself longing to know Him better.”

Amen. Praise God!

Love you all!
GOD BLESS!

There's no fear when the night comes round.

Cause I'm in better hands now.

Thank You Lord.
